The Princess Máxima Center is the national center for pediatric oncology in the Netherlands, a research hospital where all children with cancer are treated and all related research is conducted. With over 900 healthcare professionals and 600 researchers, it is Europe’s largest center of its kind. The center focuses on improving survival rates and quality of life for children with cancer through integrated care and groundbreaking research—now and for the future. The Máxima focuses on international collaboration to accelerate the search for better treatments and cures. All over Europe, 25,000 children, and all over the world 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer.
