Raising A Reader

Through a network of more than 2,500 community partners (school systems, libraries, community agencies and others) across 32 states, in 2011 alone we reached nearly 118,000 children and families, almost 75 percent of whom were living at or below the poverty level, and more than half being English Language Learners.

Since our inception, we have helped more than one million families build and sustain reading routines in their homes, with special attention to highest-risk for educational failure.

The EcoCloud platform brings together great content, solutions challenges and shared learning.

Palo Alto Humane Society

The mission of the Palo Alto Humane Society is to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animals issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society through innovative programs in intervention, education, and advocacy.
